Mating Leopard Slugs

Monday night when I returned home from work I noticed two slugs behaving oddly (namely that they seemed to notice each other’s existence). After briefly looking at them, I decided they were in the early stages of mating. Not being a huge fan of slugs, I found this somewhat unattractive. But on the other hand, it’s science in action and therefore also interesting.

My response then was to set up a camera and do a timelapse video of the… “encounter”.

So, if copulating gastropods aren’t your thing, feel free to disregard the rest of the post. Or, if you’re curious, continue on to see the timelapse.

Chew Family Genealogy

In addition to my own personal use, I’ve been wanting to allow family contributions and use of privon.com. I’m proud to announce that genealogy from the Chew Family (and associated families) will be provided online at the following link:

Chew Genealogy

Currently there’s a few pictures online from the Collins Family and Foster Family. I hope to add more in the future (as they’re sent to me), and perhaps a family tree if I can get my hands on one.  If you have more material to ad, please contact me.
