I specifically recommend #8: “Stargazing on clear winter nights”. The Astronomy Department’s McCormick Observatory hosts regular public nights where the telescope and observatory can be visited by the general public. These public nights also include use of the 126 year old 26″ Alvin Clark Refractor (weather permitting).
I’m happy to note that the first two images are mine, and were taken up at the observatory a couple years ago. You should check them out on the page above, but I’ve also included them below.
