Keck AO Study of Feedback in LIRGs Accepted for Publication

26 November 2018

Keck OSIRIS AO LIRG Analysis: Feedback in the Nuclei of Luminous Infrared Galaxies” (U+) has been accepted for publication and a preprint has been posted to arXiv. This paper uses Adaptive Optics observations with the Keck telescope to study star formation and feedback (e.g., shocks) in the centers of dusty luminous infrared galaxies. One finding is that shocked molecular gas seems to be more common in the high-luminosity systems. The article is due to appear in The Astrophysical Journal.
