Radiative Transfer for Galaxy Simulations

Radiative transfer is a key process in the step of transforming (galaxy) simulations into something which can be more directly compared with observations. powderday is a dust radiative transfer code designed to generate broadband spectral energy distributions and single-band images from a variety of galaxy formation simulations and codes. A preprint (Narayanan+) has been posted to arXiv and the paper has been submitted to AAS Journals for review. The code itself is publicly available at: https://github.com/dnarayanan/powderday.
